Myers Elementary School is a special place. Our students are at the center of all we do. Our faculty and staff are passionate about meeting their needs and caring for them on a daily basis.

Our one goal at Myers Elementary School is student success. Many factors are involved in achieving this goal. First, students need to come to school ready to learn. This means they need to eat a nourishing breakfast at home or at school.

Secondly, their emotional and developmental needs are critical to address if they are to learn. We will join with you in this effort and in addition provide a safe and orderly environment for learning.

Thirdly, the customer that we all must serve is student learning. To provide all other student needs and neglect this one short changes the student and their future.

We can jointly achieve student academic success by increasing parental involvement in the school, ensuring that all classrooms are learning focused and by addressing the needs of students who need additional assistance.

Myers Elementary School belongs to you, the public. Let us see you in the school and involved in school activities. I have a strong desire to involve parents and welcome their involvement as both leaders and volunteers.
